How to use Image Cropper
Cropping removes pixels outside a selected rectangular area. It is useful for reframing a subject, matching an aspect ratio, or removing unnecessary edges.
- Choose the source image.
- Set the X and Y starting position plus the crop width and height.
- Check that the important content remains inside the preview, then download the crop.
Practical example
A wide photograph can be cropped around its central subject for use as a square profile image.
Useful tips
- Keep an uncropped original.
- Check all four edges before downloading.
- Use circle crop only after the subject is centered.
Limitations
Pixels outside the crop are removed from the exported file and cannot be recovered from that result.
