How to use Image Rotator
Rotation changes image orientation by a chosen angle. Right-angle rotations preserve the original rectangular bounds more predictably than arbitrary angles.
- Choose the source image.
- Enter a positive clockwise or negative counterclockwise angle.
- Inspect the expanded canvas around non-right-angle rotations and download the result.
Practical example
A sideways phone photograph can be corrected with a 90 degree rotation.
Useful tips
- Use 90, 180, or 270 degrees for orientation fixes.
- Check corner spacing after a custom-angle rotation.
- Crop excess canvas after rotating when needed.
Limitations
Arbitrary angles require a larger bounding box and may introduce transparent or background areas around the image.
